Learn and utilize the RBW Design Language to analyze each concept and help define color, materials, and finishes.Make strategic recommendations for product function and feature specifications that elevate the overall project.Collect and organize inspiration to help fuel and guide product development.Maintain a structured system of design files for ease of reference and team access.Incorporate feedback in a timely manner to be shared prior to subsequent design reviews. Facilitate weekly design meetings to present progress and discuss revisions.Responsible for conceptualizing new product designs keeping in line with the RBW Design Language through ideation sketching, mockups, 3D CAD, and presentation.A successful candidate will be mechanically inclined, though no specific experience is required. This includes developing product designs that are based on internally collected inspiration, as well as translating designs submitted by outside collaborators and working through feedback and revisions. May be required to work extended hours during product development cycles.The Industrial Designer will be responsible for leading the design process from concept to completion.Use of specialized design software and tools.Primarily in-office, with occasional visits to manufacturing sites or vendors.Knowledge of sustainable design practices.Experience specifically in kitchen or home appliance design.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to conduct and interpret market research.Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and ergonomics.
